ChatGPT Ads Now Run in More Than 60 Countries, With No Minimum Spend
A new paid channel opens up, including product carousels built from a spreadsheet.
ChatGPT's ad program has grown from a US pilot in February to self-serve access in more than 60 countries by September, according to a roundup from Qwestyon. Businesses can sign up at ads.openai.com without a minimum spend commitment, only small daily budget minimums.
Formats include text and image cards and product carousels with prices and ratings. Late-September updates added bulk product feed campaigns from spreadsheets, plus HubSpot and Shopify integrations.
This is a brand-new place to reach customers while they are actively asking for recommendations. Paid placement is separate from being recommended for free, so it does not replace good AI visibility. With no minimum spend, a small test budget is a low-risk way to learn whether it works for you.
